From the 9th to the 13th of May 2016 we attend course for multisensual facilitation and art in adult education that took place at the Visionautik Akademie in Berlin, Germany. We were introduced to the Visionautic way of thinking, experiment with and reflect on a variety of multisensual approaches and methods for a rich, colourful and creative facilitation style.

Our main aim was to learn how to involve artistic expressions in adult leanings and how to learn from nature, in order to recognise our own periodical transformations and lows of nature in human development.

We have been introduced (We learned) How to prepare a creative setting and an activating surrounding; How to create an atmosphere of fun and experimental learning; How to work with Visionautic material to develop and share ideas  (maps, logbooks, inspirations, props, etc.); How to visualize and sensualize complexity: graphic recording, graphic facilitation, evolution lines, sociometric exercises etc.; How to set memory anchors in your body: haptic and olfactory memories; To use rhythm, voice and dance to improve communication; To include Multisensual tools in our work to stimulate meaningful dialogues (picture archives, medicine walk etc.)

Multisensual

Facilitation

We experience a learning process on three layers: as a learner - experiencing all methods from the inside; as a facilitator - trying out new styles and getting feedback for it; and from the meta-perspective - by reflecting on the methods and transferring them to the needs of our individual context.

Many exercises are presented indirectly through daily interaction. Small interventions turned everyday’s situations into magic events. Deliberate application of several senses (the bases commonly accepted 5 senses and additional new ones like intuition, thermoreception, nociception, balance and proprioreception) in the communication made learning and facilitating process as natural as is possible. Beside all this methods and skills we learned there it was very inspirational to see how to use city and all it can offer for creating an learning atmosphere.

In the near future, we are going to implement this multisensual approaches and methods in to our “Learning from nature” workshop witch will take plase in Calabria, October/November, 2016.

Also, we will organize ongoing serial of three workshops “Living Authentically” that will take place in KIC Cultural Information Center in Zagreb, as a dissemination of the project.

Beside all the methods and skills it was very inspiration ti see how to use city and all it’s goods for creating an atmosfphere for learning.
